“Dirty But White" is a collection of portraits dedicated to the arts. These artists are photographed while they interpret the image of their own art. The dancer is a slave of her own discipline and she is circling the world chained to the sky; the poet becomes a monument to travel, to writing, to childhood memories, to the mask, to the fly, to the light. In this work, art is revealed in the most essential of colors: white, because art can only come from purity of soul. But also dirty, because to exist art needs the dirt of humanity. "Dirty But White".
